Coconut Hydrating Cleanser
Why is this cleanser so great for those curls, kinks and coils or yours? It’s because it’s a little more than just a cleanser! This cleanser can be used to get rid of all the build-up on your scalp and hair while at the same time keeping your precious curls hydrated. Let’s face it – curls need all the moisture they can get. Since hydration is super important for naturally curly hair, this cleanser is packed with lots of "good stuff" for your hair like Coconut Oil & Aloe and let’s not forget that it’s also water based - the best kind of moisturizer!
If you're a dedicated co-wash user, because co-washing does not give the same "clean" as a regular cleanser, try using this as a “Clarifying Shampoo” about once every couple of weeks or whenever your scalp needs a good cleanse.HOW TO USE
Apply to wet hair. Part your hair in 4 parts so you can easily access your scalp. Use a quarter size amount for each parted section and gently massage into your scalp. Rinse out thoroughly and the cleaner will cleanse your strands while rinsing, without stripping moisture. Repeat if necessary.CURLY REMINDER
The amount of lather and bubbles does not equal how clean your hair will be! Focus on working the product into your scalp and not the amount of bubbles created.
Why we choose the ingredients we do:MULTIFRUIT EXTRACTS
Isolated from sugar cane, lemon and apple, these extracts offer natural exfoliation action through a-hydroxy acids promoting cell renewal of the scalp. Its naturally low pH helps ensure that hair proteins are kept hard and more resistant to breakage.COCONUT OIL
One of the few oils that is able to deeply penetrate the hair follicle. This product is a Holy Grail product that has moisturizing, strengthening and anti-itch properties all on its own.

No, this is more of a clarifying shampoo. Instead, use our Coconut Cream Conditioner as a co-wash.Should I use this for all over my hair?
We don't recommend that because you don't want to strip your hair of its natural oils. Instead, use just on the scalp and as you rinse it will lightly cleanse your strands as well.
Great amount of lather with little products needed. It gently cleanses but doesn't strip. Its watery, that would be the only thing I have a hard time with as I have to ensure I dont spill it if cupping my hand to apply. I pump onto my hair to ensure it doesn't spill out and go down the drain.
Really like everything about this cleanser except it's a bit too watery for my liking. I lose product as it starts sliding out of my hand as soon as I pump it onto my hand. Works great on my thin 2c/3a curls and doesn't weigh them down. It's also super gentle and smells amazing, not your cookie cutter coconut has some mint in it too.
I find it refreshing from the harsh shampoos you typically get over the counter. You actually feel like your scalp is clean when you separate your hair in four quadrants like they recommend in the description.
