Looking for some heavy-duty moisture for your thick, curly hair? Kinky-Curly hair needs care and loves butters and oils! Our Butter Balm is Coconut Oil based to provide deep penetrating moisture to your hair. It's also formulated with mega-moisturizing butters, such as Shea Butter & Cocoa Butter. Not to mention complimenting oils, such as Avocado Oil & Sweet Almond Oil. Clearly, thirsty hair is not allowed here.

HOW TO USE

This butter can be used after a leave-in conditioner as a daily sealant on the ends of your hair. Take a small amount, rub between hands to melt the Balm and lightly work through ends. It can also be used when re-styling to add moisture back to your hair (use with "Coconut Water Refresher" to "UN-SMOOSH" slept-on hair).

Dry Skin? Try some on frequently washed hands or those knees and elbows that just won't cooperate to deeply penetrate cracks and rough skin!

CURLY REMINDER

Use this product very sparingly as too much will cause the hair to become greasy, and not in a good way! Best to use this product on the ends only to avoid product build-up on your scalp.

Why we choose the ingredients we do:

AVOCADO OIL

Avocado is one of the few penetrating oils, other than our beloved Coconut Oil. It naturally contains Biotin and restores dry and dehydrated skin and hair (keeps it moist and smooth).

COCOA BUTTER

Just as famous as Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter is great for the hair and protects the hair from the elements.

SHEA BUTTER
This butter is widely-known as the most moisturizing natural butter and is a go-to for dry and thicker hair textures.

Butter Balm

The product works well. I find that the texture of the product has changed since it was called butter'd up. It's a little granular makes it slightly harder to dissolve into hair. That being said the product still provides fantastic moisture.

Hi Christopher, Thanks for your feedback. I believe you had our old formula that we figured out was leaking a bit (when warm, due to all the oils). We stiffened up the balm but we didn't whip it. We will start whipping it again before jarring, instead of pouring the mixture straight in. Appreciate you remaining a loyal customer!
