Silk - your curls deserve it. Our silk bonnet is designed to protect your curls from breakage and frizz and to lock in your hairs natural oils. This luxurious sleep cap is crafted from incredibly soft 100% silk fabric and features long ties so you can feel comfy and secure all night long. Wake-up to soft, shiny and healthy curls every morning.

HOW TO USE
Gently tuck your curls or hairstyle inside the bonnet. Using our Silk Scrunchie to create a loose low ponytail or high pineapple may help! Use the bonnet ties to secure the bonnet on your head. You can either tie it directly in the back or wrap it around your head to tie it on top for extra security.
Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash in cool water. If using a machine, wash on gentle cycle and with other similar fabrics/textiles.Use a mild detergent made for delicate fabrics. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Air drying is preferred or tumble dry on low heat settings.

What type of silk do you use? We use 100% Mulberry Silk sourced from Suzhou, China - leaders of the silk industry. Our Silk Bonnet is made with a grade 6A mulberry silk with a 19 momme weight. All of our silk products are OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning they are free from any harmful substances or dyes.
Why is silk better for your curls? Due to silks soft nature and composition it naturally reduces friction on your hair to prevent breakage and frizz. It also has non-absorbent properties so it won't absorb or strip any precious moisture from your curls.
How do I wash it? Hand wash or machine wash in cold water. If using machine, wash on gentle cycle and with other similar fabrics/textiles. Use a mild detergent made for delicate fabrics. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Air drying is preferred or tumble dry on low heat settings.

Best bonnet I've ever tried. Definitely 100% silk, and it stays on while I'm sleeping. Hair is shiny and bouncy when I take it off. Will be back in the future for more of these for myself and my children.
Back in June last year when I put my first order for CurlShoppe, this was a product I coveted. At the time I either could not afford it or it was sold out. I got it in December and I have loved it! As I have mentioned in other reviews, I have 3a-3c hair with my sides buzzed and my hair to my shoulder blades. I have noticed less frizz since using it and better curl quality. I like to someto do the pineapple tie with a silk scrunchy and the silk bonnet. The silk bonnet stays on nicely and only slips sometimes. The nice thing about the material is that you can put it in a tight knot for the night because it is easy to undo in the morning. When I wash this, I put it in a delicates laundry bag, wash it with my microfiber towel also in a delicates bag, with maybe a few other delicate products. I always hang dry it. It has stayed in near perfect condition (there is one fray on the strap of the silk bonnet but this is likely due to my abnormally sharp nails) and I am definitely considering buying a second one so that I have a clean one to switch out to when one is in the wash. I wish I kept the box it came in because the box is absolutely beautiful and if I had thought about it I would have kept my silk bonnet in it during the day. The quality of both are great.
The inside of the bonnet is NOT silk! the part that literally touches ur hair. what a joke. and u can't return hair items. do not buy!!!!

We apologize for any confusion you may have in regards to the material of our bonnet, but we assure you that it is made from 100% Silk as claimed and as it is labelled. It is quite normal for silk to have a side that appears to be more 'shiny' than the other as it depends on how the fibre is woven. Regardless of which side touches your hair, the benefits of using silk as a protective barrier still holds true.
In regards to our return policy, we happily accept and help coordinate returns on all unopened and unworn products. This includes our Silk Bonnet. I have thick, wavy, long hair, which has a tendency to escape silk bonnets, leading to unbearably frizzy, knotty hair in the morning. This is the first silk bonnet I’ve tried that actually stays on all night long! Plus it’s Canadian and it looks cute when you tie a lil bow at the front! I can’t recommend this enough :)
I’ve only had it for a few days, but so far it’s helped keep my usually curly and dry hair , feeling more moisturized.
